If someone is pressuring you now

Pause payments and private sharing, use the call app’s hang-up control, and reach someone you already trust through a known number. If you sent money, contact your bank promptly through its official app or a number you already know and keep the transaction reference. ScamHawk is not an emergency-response or money-recovery service.

App help you can use now

• Checking a message: paste/share the text into ScamHawk and use on-device mode. A warning score does not confirm identity or guarantee safety.
• Images: review and correct the text read from your selected screenshot/photo before scanning. Recognition can miss or misread content.
• Server unavailable: switch to on-device mode. The debug server/tunnel and optional AI relay are development features that require separate setup.
• Installation blocked: keep Android’s protections enabled. Record the exact warning, app version, phone model and Android version. Do not install an unrelated APK or disable Play Protect to get around a warning.
• Trusted-contact actions: verify the recipient and draft in the selected app. Opening a draft or requesting a call does not prove delivery or connection.

When the support channel opens

A useful issue report contains the app version, Android version, phone model, the action that failed, the exact error, and a fictional or redacted example if needed. Remove phone numbers, names, payment details and unrelated conversations. Never send OTPs, PINs, passwords, full bank details, recovery codes or device access tokens.

For a privacy or deletion issue, start with the type of data or account involved. An account reference alone is not proof of ownership. No payment is required to report a problem to ScamHawk.
